Send the files that define the part
Include the current 3D model and drawing, part number, revision and quantity. Identify the material grade and finish where specified. If either remains open, explain what the part must do and the environment in which it will be used.
Identify the decisions that need review
- Mark critical dimensions, fits and cosmetic surfaces.
- State the inspection records or material documentation required.
- Include the delivery destination and target arrival date.
- For an existing enquiry or order, include its reference so the team can locate the relevant information.
