Design feedback before production
We review tool access, geometry and material choice before manufacturing.

Passivation is a chemical reaction. It can delay the corrosion rate of metal materials and effectively increase the service life of the product.

Dimensional checks and inspection reports for the critical features on your drawing.
Tooling, finishing and inspection included in your delivery schedule.
Finish must also be compatible with the selected base material; allow for preparation, masking and dimensional changes.
Control chip ignition hazards and thin-wall deflection. Specify grade, product form and heat treatment; do not transfer annealed Grade 5 properties to other titanium grades. Colored anodizing, blasting, polishing and qualified passivation. Sliding contacts may need a suitable nitriding or oxidation treatment.
Consider 316/316L, 304L or other suitable grades for the environment and welding requirements. Free-machining 303 sacrifices some corrosion resistance and weldability. Use precipitation-hardening or martensitic grades when heat-treatment hardening is needed. Passivation, electropolishing, blasting, brushing, mirror polishing and qualified PVD coating; chemical coloring is process-dependent.
